Why is Harry's Roadhouse a Farm to Restaurant participant?
"We, at the Roadhouse, want to thank all of our local farmers for their cornucopia of goodies. Throughout the year we feature Lamont’s Buffalo and lamb from Talus Wind Ranch or Naturally New Mexico Beef & Lamb. In the height of the season, Harry, Peyton or Jesse are at the Farmers Markets at least twice a week. You can count on a variety of Market Salads featuring arugula, Padron peppers and heirloom tomatoes; goat cheese-stuffed squash blossoms; Moriarity corn, fingerling potatoes, eggplant, and Matt Romero's Carrots and Peppers. Fresh fruit pies and cobblers are made with local peaches, sour cherries, apricots, pears and apples. A lot of our fruit we buy from Andreas' Fruit i Rinconada. And we are always looking to do more..."
